Taking Photos at Caltech

A permit is required for all professional, noncommercial photography of special or private events, e.g, weddings, engagements, family portraits, quinceañeras.

The campus is available as a venue for still photography on weekdays after 5:00 P.M., all day Saturday, Sunday, and holidays. A maximum of 10 permits per weekend day will be issued.

There is a fee of $250.00 for a photography permit.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
1) Anyone taking professional photographs at Caltech without a permit will be escorted off campus by our security officers.
2)Any campus events preclude photo shoots. The following dates are not available:

Prefrosh weekend, April 2–5, 2009
Alumni Seminar Day: TBD
